Get European luxury haptics at direct Chinese continuous mill rates. Thermally fused at 200°C and 3.2 MPa, Cuzi MFC combines EN 14322 Class 3 scratch resistance with deep-pore Embossed-in-Register (EIR) textures and 100% color-matched ABS edge banding that cuts workshop reject rates to zero.
Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) is an engineered decorative panel manufactured by thermally fusing thermoset melamine resin-impregnated paper to both sides of an EN 312 P2 or P5 particle board core under 190°C–210°C and 2.5–3.5 MPa pressure. Certified under EN 14322 Class 3, it delivers high scratch resistance (≥ 2.0 N), stain resistance (Rating 5), and hygienic cleanability with 300+ synchronized EIR woodgrain, velvet matte, and stone decors accompanied by 100% color-matched ABS/PVC edge banding.
Unlike cold-pressed foils or glued vinyl wraps that can peel over time, Cuzi MFC utilizes high-temperature short-cycle thermal presses. Under 200°C heat and 3.2 MPa hydraulic pressure, thermosetting melamine resin liquefies, penetrates into the micro-fine particle board surface pores, and polymerizes into a permanent, non-porous chemical bond.

Raw particle board is an unfinished structural wood composite substrate. Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) is factory pre-finished by thermally cross-linking thermosetting melamine-formaldehyde resin-impregnated decorative paper directly to both sides of the board under 190°C–210°C and 2.5–3.5 MPa pressure. This forms a permanent, non-porous, highly hygienic surface that requires no painting, staining, or pressing.
Yes. We manufacture and supply perfectly matched ABS and PVC edge banding coils in thicknesses from 0.4mm to 2.0mm and widths from 22mm to 45mm. Every edge banding coil is extruded with matching surface embossing and gloss levels, coated with a back primer for maximum adhesion under EVA and waterproof PUR hot-melt glues. Specify the decor code, texture, edge-band width and thickness, and coil quantity in the same inquiry. See the edge-banding guide for the available terminology.
We operate specialized short-cycle press lines with engraved steel plates offering: (1) Synchronized Deep Pore (EIR) matching printed woodgrain knots and pores; (2) Velvet Super Matte (< 5 GU) with anti-fingerprint coating; (3) Fine Stipple Woodgrain (10-12 GU); (4) Urban Concrete & Tactile Slate Stone (ST); and (5) Mirror High-Gloss (> 90 GU).
For standard residential bedroom wardrobes, pantry units, and upper cabinets, our EN 312 P2 core is the worldwide benchmark for cost efficiency. For sink base cabinets, bathroom vanities, and humid tropical climates, we recommend MFC manufactured with our EN 312 P5 moisture-resistant green core, certified under the EN 321 V313 cyclic test with 24h swelling limited to ≤ 9.5%. Describe where the cabinet will be used and the core grade requested. Compare the P2 and P5 options before finalizing your specification.
To achieve chip-free cutting of double-faced melamine panels on beam saws, use Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) or micro-grain tungsten carbide (TCT) saw blades with Triple Chip Grind (TCG) teeth. An independent bottom scoring saw (conical or split tooth) running at 0.5mm to 0.8mm depth is mandatory to score the bottom melamine layer before the main blade cuts through.
Under EN 14323 Clause 5.5 testing, our MFC surfaces achieve the highest Rating 5 (no change) when tested against aggressive staining agents including coffee, red wine, tea, vegetable oil, isopropyl alcohol, and acetone. The fully cross-linked melamine polymer network is completely non-porous and easy to sanitize.
A standard 40'HQ container comfortably accommodates 800 to 880 sheets of 18mm 4×8 ft MFC packed across 16 ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets. Total net timber volume is approximately 43.0 to 47.1 m³ with a gross shipping weight of 26.5 to 26.9 metric tons, fully optimizing container payload.
Yes. We support mixed-pallet container orders. A single 40'HQ container can combine 2 to 4 different decors (e.g. 8 pallets of Natural Oak MFC, 4 pallets of Alpine White Matte, and 4 pallets of Anthracite Gray) on individual wrapped pallets with matching edge banding boxes packed on top. List the sheet quantity for each decor, thickness and core grade, plus matching edging. Request the selected decor sample and include your surface and edge-matching requirements.
For a quotation, send your decor code, texture, core grade, sheet size, thickness, matching edge requirements, quantity per decor and destination port. For samples, tell us which finish or property you want to evaluate.
